The Senior Special Assistant to Osun State governor on Media Mr Hezekiah Oladele Banji ,(HOB) has described the August 15th governorship Election in Osun State as a walkover for Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Mr Banji who stated this in Osogbo while featuring on Impact Digital Television Osogbo personality interview programme tagged The Dialogue" said the governor had performed excellently well in all facets of human endeavors.
He noted that the governor had demonstrated capacity in all areas of growth and development especially his transformation agenda in the area of road infrastructure and Economic prosperity for the state.
The SSA maintained that within three and half years ,the governor had made enough statement through unprecedented achievements and he remained the most popular governor in the history of the state.
He maintained that All progressive Congress can never be a threat to Accord as APC was a rejected party struggle for breath in the state, saying all the available indices and variables support the Victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the Election.
The SSA lauded the governor for putting smile in the face of public civil servants and pensioners in the state through prompt payment of their salaries,promotion as at when due and regular payment of pensioners as well as payment of arrears of half salary.
He said this singular act of prioritizing the welfare of civil servants had endeared workers to governor in the state and saying they are ready to pay him back through massive turnout to re elect him on 15th August governorship Election in the state
Mr Banji said no amount of intimidation, harassment, political attacks and killings could stop APC defeat in the August 15th governorship Election in the state and called out Osun State Police command to maintain neutrality in the election in order not to soil the image of the force.
He hinted that All progressive Congress employed violence so as to create fear in the mind of electorate ,saying the tactics can not work as voters in the state had resolved to vote for Governor Ademola Adeleke for second term in Office.
Speaking on the array of defection from Accord party to APC ,The SSA said those defectors were going to suffer serious political defeat as they are expired politician with no political value .
He expressed confidence that the expired politician can never constitute a threat to the present administration in the state and noted that Governor Ademola Adeleke remained the most vibrant candidate in the election.
