The Chairman of civil society Committee of Imole Campaigns Council,Hon Funsho Babarinde says Governor Ademola Adeleke deserves second term due to his excellent performance in the last three and half years.
Hon Babarinde who stated this when he featured on Impact Digital Television Osogbo personality interview programme tagged "The Dialogue" said Governor Adeleke had recorded substantial achievements in the area of economy, Education,,health and infrastructural development.
He maintained that major cities in the state had been repositioned for socio economic development through roads infrastructure as all the cities can now boast of dualized roads.
The Accord party chieftain noted that endorsement of Governor Ademola Adeleke by different groups was a testament to his performance and acceptability.
He called on all the institutions involved in the electoral process to maintain neutrality to make the election free, fair, and credible and acceptable to the observers and international community.
Hon Babarinde decried high level of political violence in the state , saying Election should not be seen as do or die affairs as political killings and assault was inimical democratic ethoes.
The Accord party chieftain urged political actors to always play the game according to the rules and shun acts capable of creating rancour and acrimony through their desperate tendencies.
Speaking on the recent defection of some political bigwigs from the fold of Accord party to APC,Hon Babarinde said their defection would not affect the outcome of the election as people of Osun State were strongly behind governor Adeleke due to his people oriented programmes.
He argued that APC was not electable,saying their twelve years government had little impact on the state and the people of the state had seen the difference as they now taste true dividends of democracy.
