The immediate past Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Osun State Investment Company Limited, OSICOL, Dr. Tunde Faleye has berated Governor Ademola Adeleke led-Accord government in the state for resorting to mass vandalization and destruction of billboards and posters belonging to the main opposition party- the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state.
Faleye fingered the Adeleke's government for indulging and abatting the political hoodlums whose job was to clamp down on the opposition property particularly billboards of the APC.
The former Osicol boss lamented the incessant destruction of his billboards worth millions of naira, mounted at different locations in the state capital - Osogbo, Ilesa and other places by alleged Accord miscreants.
Recall that several billboards sponsored by Dr. Faleye and mounted at the popular Olaiya junction, old Fakunle Comprehemsive Grammar School, Ogo-Oluwa axis and Abere area were callously destroyed and pulled-down for no just cause.
It is no longer new that high-risen billboards bearing the APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO being sponsored by Dr. Faleye, was mutilated and brought down by the suspected PDP-Accord political hoodlums in Osogbo recently.
Speaking on the latest ugly incident, Dr. Faleye accused Adeleke's government of gross intolerance of opposition and innate hatred to clampdown on the opponents in the state.
Faleye described the destruction of the newly replaced billboard at Ogo-Oluwa as diabolic, barbaric and coordinated inhuman act to silent him from mounting and campaigning for the party's flag bearer.
He flayed the current government in the state for resorting to cheap politics of acrimony leading to billboards vandalism warning those perpetrating the act to desist.
Faleye avered that no amount of Adeleke's propaganda and politically charged moves will prevent Osun residents from voting massively for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji in the forthcoming governorship election.
He reaffirmed his commitment to continuously support the candidacy of Oyebamiji in the collective effort to ensure AMBO's emergence come August 15th, 2026.
