Osun State governor,Senator Ademola Adeleke has dolled out one hundred riyah to each of Osun State pilgrim in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as their sallah gift .
Speaking at the distribution point ,The chairman,Osun State Muslims pilgrim welfare board, Alhaji Maroof Isola said the gesture was part of governor Ademola Adeleke welfare package to make the pilgrims stay in Saudi Arabia to be worthwhile experience.
Alhaji Isola noted that Governor Ademola had been supportive to the board as he made provision for the bus that conveyed the pilgrims to Ikeja International Airport in Lagos as well as provide two Ankara clothing material for the pilgrims instead of the usual one material.
He said governor Adeleke administration had been people oriented hence his willingness to extend the gesture to Osun pilgrims in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Chairman urged the Pilgrims to sustain its Omoluabi virtues all through their stay in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and remain good Ambassadors of the state and Nigeria as a whole .
Some of the pilgrims who spoke with IDTV commended the gesture,saying Governor Adeleke administration had been given priority to the welfare of the citizenry.
They promised to remain good Ambassadors of the state and avoid any act that could soil the image of the state.
The Executive Director of Impact Digital Television, Osogbo, Alhaji Wasiu Ajadosu reports that over nine hundred pilgrims from Osun State are currently performing this year's Hajj in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
