Osun State government has inaugurated central planing committee and sub committees for its second term Inauguration ceremony.
Performing the inauguration ,Osun State governor , Senator Ademola Adeleke appreciated the members of the committee for their doggedness and support during the election.
Represented by the Secretary to the state government. Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye said their tireless efforts, before, during and after the election and their loyalty and hard work in the field culminated in the sweet victory that the government was celebrating today
"We must remind ourselves that victory at the polls translates to more work and greater responsibilities. The good people of Osun State have renewed their trust in us. Their expectations are higher. The task of taking Osun State to greater heights is now more demanding and more compelling. We cannot afford to rest on our oars"
"It is in recognition of this fact that this Government has decided to be very deliberate and responsible in its approach to the Second Term Inauguration. We intend to use this inauguration as a veritable platform to reassure the populace that this Government will not disappoint them. That the mandate freely given will be justified with more dividends of democracy, more good governance and more life-touching programmes" The governor stated"
He urged to put together a colourful Second Term Inauguration Ceremony, which by the special grace of God, has been scheduled to hold on Friday, 27th November, 2026.
"Our assignment, therefore, is very clear. We are to work as one united family. All Sub-Committees are enjoined to liaise effectively with the Central Committee for synergy and effective coordination"
