The former member of house of Representatives,Hon Ismaila Kolawole says he left All progressive Congress because he was not recognized by leaders of APC in the state hence his decision to move to Accord party.
Hon Kolawole who stated this in Osogbo when he featured on Impact Digital Television Osogbo personality interview programme tagged "The Dialogue"said he had been in politics over two decades ago noted that he could not continue to swallow the bitter pill he was exposed to in APC.
He hinted that the candidate of Accord party was a marketable product who his achievements was enough to give him opportunity for re election especially in the area of roads infrastructure which has endeared him to electorate in the state.
The former member of house of Representatives lauded governor Ademola Adeleke for making it roads infrastructure to cut across all the federal Constituencies in the state, noting that Ila,Ife ,Ilesa and Iwo were witnessing road dualization for the first time and this had opened all these cities for economic turnaround.
He said the governor achievements cover all sectors of development and his programmes and policies are people centered hence the need for the electorates to vote for him to seal continuity of good governance and democratic dividends.
Hon Kolawole said Governor Ademola Adeleke was enjoying generally acceptability because he was a listening governor who was keen about needs and aspirations of the people of the state.
Speaking on recently defection of some political big wigs from Accord party,The former lawmaker dismissed the insinuation that the so called big wigs was going to change the face of the Election,saying power has shifted to the people not big names again .
He urged all the institutions involved in the electoral process to maintain neutrality and eschew acts that lead to rancour and acrimony as no meaningful development could take in atmosphere of crisis.
Hon Kolawole called on gladiators to always play the game according to the rules and shun desperation as sovereignty belongs to electorate
