The Special Adviser to Osun State governor on Security matters ,Barrister Samuel Ojo has condemned the invasion of the residence of the Secretary to Osun State government,Hon Teslim Igbalaye and six other Commissioners
Barrister Ojo who stated this when he featured on Impact Digital Television Osogbo personality interview programme tagged "The Dialogue" described the invasion as unfortunate and uncivilized.
The Special Adviser said the police also invaded the residence of about six Commissioners and unlawfully arrested some relatives of the SSG, hinted that he was yet to get proper briefing on the issue for him to know what warrant the invasion and unlawful arrest of their relatives.
He maintained that politics was not a do or die affairs and urged political actors to stop these unnecessary killings and attacks and invasion,noting that people will would prevail no matter the level of intimidation and provocation.
The Special Adviser on security matters said he has lost confidence in men and officers of Osun State Command for their conducts in the recent time which was inimical to professional dictate of their callings
He condemned the actions of the police especially when police was accompany thugs and hoodlums to attack political opponents,saying this has reduced the force to shame and ridicule.
Barrister Ojo narrated what happened in Ile Ife where some hoodlums who attacked motor parks were arrested by Naval officers and police came to rescue them ,saying this act was highest level of biase which was not expected from uniform men.
He expressed confidence that Governor Ademola Adeleke stands better chance to win the Election and hinted that all these brigandage and violent disposition cannot stop opposition from defeat .
The Special Adviser urged critical stakeholders in the electoral process to maintain neutrality and eschew acts capable of creating unnecessary tension in the state.
