The president of The Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria,EHOAN, Osun State Chapter, Sanitarian Fasilat Titilayo Lawal has pleaded with the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke to please employ more hands to ease the workload of the existing sanitarians in all the local government areas of the state
speaking on Impact Digital Television ,Osogbo personality interview programme tagged "The Dialogue", Sanitarian Lawal said Over 465 Sanitarians across all local government areas in the state that were placed on temporary Employment hence the need for government to employ them to improve service delivery of sanitarians in the state.
She noted that the temporary staff had been placed on stipend of ten thousand naira monthly which had greatly affected their operations and service delivery.
She thanked the governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for his support, and provision of funds to get some of their work equipments while also urging him to please keep supporting them as they cannot do it alone.
She urged residents of the state to always keep their environment clean and avoid practices that could expose the state environmental hazard.
Sanitarian Lawal also called residents to stop indiscriminate dumping of refuse into the drainage to avoid blockage of water water passage which could lead to erosion that can cause lose of lives and properties.
Sanitarian Lawal said her association was actively collaborating with the state Government in the task of keeping the state clean and environmentally friendly.
