Some Members of the All Progressives Congress in Ijesa North Federal Constituency have protested against the endorsement of the lawmaker representing the constituency, Mr.Wole Oke for the 2027 general election.
Mr. Oke, who is the Director General of the APC campaign council was according to the protesters was endorsed by the leadership of the party yesterday.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent reports that the Protesters displayed placards with various inscriptions to express thier displeasure about the decision.
A member of the Party who preferred to be anonymous said it should be the turn of Oriade Local Government to produce the next federal lawmaker who will represent the constituency.
They insisted that Mr. Oke who is from Esa-Oke, Obokun local government should step down and allow someone from Oriade to contest.
