COURT REFUSAL TO DEREGISTER ACCORD FURTHER EXPOSES OSUN APC’S DESPERATION.

The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) notes with profound concern the deepening political frustration, confusion, and psychological collapse currently ravaging the Osun APC following the court’s refusal to entertain the desperate plot to deregister the ACCORD Party ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State.

The failed legal ambush once again confirms what the people of Osun already know, that every sinister strategy deployed by desperate power merchants within the Osun APC to forcefully hijack power through the backdoor has continued to crumble disgracefully.

Having woefully failed to earn the trust, confidence, and goodwill of the people through performance, vision, competence, or credible alternatives, the Osun APC has now become synonymous with political desperation, reckless propaganda, and anti-democratic manipulations aimed at destabilising the State.

From the unlawful invasion and occupation of local government secretariats to the destruction of campaign materials, unleashing of political thugs on innocent citizens, violent attacks across communities, and the tragic loss of innocent lives, Osun people have continued to witness the frightening desperation of a party already overwhelmed by rejection, panic, and the looming reality of electoral humiliation.

It is now crystal clear that the Osun APC no longer believes in democratic competition or issue-based engagement. Rather than market programmes, policies, or constructive ideas to the electorate, the party has chosen the dishonourable path of blackmail, falsehood, propaganda, violence and calculated political chaos.

The failed move against the ACCORD Party therefore represents yet another devastating psychological blow to an APC that has become increasingly terrified of facing Governor Ademola Adeleke in a free, fair, peaceful, and credible election.

What has become obvious is that after every disgraceful failure, the APC hurriedly searches for another dubious route to power. When propaganda collapsed, they embraced blackmail. When blackmail failed, they resorted to and violence. Now that legal manipulation has equally failed, they are clearly stranded and politically directionless.

No amount of desperation, violence, propaganda, judicial shopping, or political manipulation can subvert the democratic will of a people who have already made their decision.

Osun State belongs to the people , not to desperate politicians intoxicated by power and blinded by ambition.
