Corp Commander Sunday Adebayo has officially assumed duty as the new Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Osun State sector Command.
According to a statement by the Sector Public Education Officer, FRSC Osun State Command, Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi, Corps Commander Adebayo is a seasoned officer of the FRSC who possesses vast experience in road safety administration, traffic management, and public service.
Mrs. Ogungbemi said, Over the years, Corps Commander Adebayo has demonstrated exemplary leadership, professionalism, and commitment to the Corps’ mandate of ensuring safer roads across the Nation.
The Statement reads " in recognition of his competence and outstanding service record, he was appointed as the Sector Commander of RS11.1 Osun Sector Command, with the responsibility of overseeing road safety operations, enforcement, public enlightenment, and administrative coordination within the state."
Upon assumption of office, the new Sector Commander of Osun State , Corps Commander Adebayo expressed gratitude to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, for the confidence reposed in him.
He reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the core values of the Corps and ensuring effective service delivery through discipline, professionalism, and teamwork.
Corps Commander Adebayo emphasized the need for sustained public enlightenment, strict enforcement of traffic laws, and improved collaboration with critical stakeholders in the transport sector to achieve the Corps’ mandate.
The New Osun FRSC sector commander, assured Residents of its continued commitment to safer roads and urged all road users to comply with traffic regulations for the safety of all.
