The Former special Adviser on public Health in Osun State,Hon Olasiji Akanmu Olamiju says the present administration in the state is running Osun State as a family business.
Hon Olamiju who stated this when he featured on Impact Digital Television Osogbo personality interview programme tagged "The Dialogue" said the present administration in the state was running government as personal Estate ,saying this has affected smooth running of governance in the state.
He said this is the first time that Osun state would witness a government where decision was being taken from the Family house rather than the cabinet meeting.
Speaking on the state of Education in the state, The former special Adviser said education was in state of comatose due to non availability of teachers,saying the whole of Atakumosa local government can not boast of one physics teacher.
He said the failure of the present administration to pay attention to Education sector would jeopardize the future of the youth and the state as whole
Hon Olamiju noted that development had prevented potential science students in the local government the opportunity to study science courses in the future.
He explained that it was the responsibility of government to provide education for youth so to prepare them for future challenges, saying government goes beyond cosmetic design and unnecessary jamboree.
The special Adviser who argued that the level of infrastructure development in the state was not commensurate with the volume of allocation to the state said the rehabilitated and constructed roads were substandard which cannot meet international standard.
While highlighting the manifesto of his party ,All progressive Congress to include prosperity for all ,free and quality Education,Youth and women Empowerment and quality healthcare, Hon Olamiju said his party would change the economic fortune of the state if elected on August 15th governorship Election.
He said his party Candidate was a man of knowledge and wisdom who had over two decades experience in Banking and Accounting, expressing confidence that the party Candidate ,Mr Bola Oyebamiji would use his vast experience to address the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Osun State.
The Former special Adviser hinted that Accord party was never a threat to APC as APC was fully rooted in Osun State and it remained a formidable vehicle towards economic prosperity.
He expressed confidence that with the array of bigwigs that defeated from Accord to APC ,the party was well positioned to win August 15th governorship Election in the state
