Osun 2026: ADC is well positioned to unseat the present administration in August 15th governorship Election- Alhaji Isa Azeez





The Chairman of Africa Democratic Congress in Osun State,Alhaji Isa Azeez  said his party was fully prepared and ready to unseat the present administration in the state.

Alhaji Azeez who stated this in Osogbo while featuring on Impact Digital Television Osogbo personality interview programme tagged "The Dialogue" said the party was fully rooted in all the units wards and local government area of the state.

He noted that the candidate of the party was a man of wisdom and knowledge  who understands the yearnings and aspirations of the people of the state , saying his pedigree was enough for the people of the state to vote for him .

The Chairman maintained that ADC was the only party equiped with progressive manifesto that would change Socio economic fortune of the state hence the need for electorate to vote for the party Candidate in the forthcoming August 15th governorship Election in the state.

He hinted that the party was well positioned for victory in the Election due to his rigorous campaign, advocacy and engagement with the electorate in the state and the party would sustain the trend so as to make the party attractive to the voters in the state.

While speaking on the financial strength of the party to withstand Accord,and APC  financial muscle,Alhaji Azeez said the election was not about money, noting that  the party has been enjoying generally acceptability of the electorate and this would go a long way for the party as it will leverage on the power of voters as sovereignty belongs to them


He explained that the party had a better chance in the election as it remains the only party with sustainable manifesto and its past record especially when former Governor Rauf Aregbesola who is the leader of the party was the governor of the state, the state witnessed unprecedented growth which the candidate of the Party,Dr Najeem Salam would replicate the gesture when elected as governor of the state.

Alhaji Azeez urged political actors, gladiators, party members and supporters to shun violence and acts capable of heating up political atmosphere, saying Election should not be seen as a do or die affairs, maintaining that his party would never involve in any act that could lead to rancour and acrimony.
