Residents of Osun State have been urged to patronize Private Sector Participation, PSP operators, for effective waste management across the state.
The Chairman of the PSP operators, Sanitarian Ogunbanwo, made the call while Featuring on Impact Digital Television the current affairs programe tagged the dialogue in Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo
He emphasized the need for collective responsibility in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
According to him, supporting PSP operators aligns with the environmental vision of Governor Ademola Adeleke, who has declared zero tolerance for environmental hazards.
He noted that proper waste disposal was key to preventing disease outbreaks, stressing that indiscriminate dumping of refuse, especially in waterways, must be avoided.
Sanitarian Ogunbamwo hinted that PSP operators have functional waste evacuation vehicles across the state at affordable rates for residents.
The Chairman called on residents to cooperate with ongoing government efforts to prevent flooding and ensure cleaner communities.
