Survival has become extremely difficult for Nigerians as all basic needs of life are far beyond the reach of common man.
While government statistics seem to be show improvement in the country's macroeconomics, the life of the average Nigerian has become tougher than it has ever been at any point in our country's history.
These were the submissions of Osun Masterminds at a press conference in Osogbo on the state of the Nation and Osun State in general
Speaking through its Executive Director, Professor Wasiu Oyedokun, the group used the opportunity to call on the Federal Government to immediately look at ways to make life easier for average Nigerians
He noted that government must consider ways of immediately lowering the cost of fuel, and holistically address insecurity challenges that continue to cripple and disrupt our food supply channels.
Professor Oyedokun charged political actors to respect the choices of other political actors and go about the business of campaigns peacefully as the state prepares for August 15th governorship Election.
He urged Political leaders to caution their followers to desist from acts that constitute oppression, suppression, intimidation, cyberbullying, violence against persons and groups.
On Ibadan opposition summit,Professor Oyedokun condemned the spurious claims that were made at the summit, especially those ones capable of inciting violence, and undermining the integrity of the electoral umpire.
He however urged Osun State government to make it public, their response to the allegations of corruption against them by Sally Tibbot consultancy firm.
